 I suggest that you wait until there is no one else in ear-shot, and you get close to him and say: "Hey, (his name here), I think your lips look like they might taste like sugar.... Any chance we could go someplace a little more private? ... and I take a chance on finding out just how sweet they are?"
THAT should get him to go someplace where you (and he) can be private enough for you to check out those lips!!!!

Is there an arcade in the bowling alley you're going to? A food area? Ask him if he wants to play a game (challenge, flirt with him) or ask him if he can win you a stuffed animal. Ask him if he wants to grab something to eat. Vending machine? Tell him it's a bit hot and you want to grab a soda and ask if he wants to come with you. Sounds kinda silly but if he likes you, he'll come around. Also, bowling alleys get hot after a while with all the moving around. Tell him you're going to get some fresh air and cool off, maybe he'll join you, good luck!
