writes: my ex after two years went home for a week, told me he wanted it over. that i could do better he wasn't what i needed.i replied lets wait well talk.we did the day after over text had it out.i said i can't cope put me out my misery i love you.he said i love you too, go to bed stop doing this.the day after i emailed him saying, i want us to work but we both need to work harder.he said he couldn't soz.he didnt give me a reason.closure nothing.but begged me not to delete him from my life.i said im going to. it is my way of grieving. i need to get over you.he said ok, contact me when your ready.3 months down the line i still miss him, not all the time but i have moments when i ache for him, i miss his presence as we did live together for a short period.i keep wanting him to knock on my door, ring me, email me SOMETHING.but all i got after a month was 'hey hope your good'didn't respond. i thought he was it, i can't forget him and its killing me. how do i forget someone who meant so much and gave me so little reason?

 Not much you can do. The worst thing anyone can do is break up without a reason. Makes you wonder what you did wrongly. You didn't do anything wrongly (unless you've left some info out) he is the problem, he's the one with issues. I mean after two years why won't a bf tell his gf what's on his mind? If he wants space, not feeling loved or even met someone else. You deserve an explanation but he isn't giving you one. You're doing well by not replying his messages. If he has something to say to you he should do it in person. Or at the very least a phone call.

reader, anonymous, writes (26 December 2011): Usually in these cases he was trying to tell you, in which you was not listening or there are reasons he thinks it`s better not telling you. Things have not been okay as far as he`s concerned but sometimes we miss things.
