A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I need some advice on how to date/ flirt. Believe it or not I have never dated or gone on dates before until now. I have always been in long term relationships that started out as a friendship.

I am trying to change my pattern, so now on my 3rd date with this wonderful guy, then he texted me the next day "I hope it's not too forward but I can't stop thinking about how amazing you looked last night".... All I replied was a happy face. We haven't texted since.... Is this bad? How do I reply to it? How do I flirt via text? I need advice...I am a little lost here...

Oo you need more than a happy face ... I mean the guy went out his way to tell you, you were gorgeous and got a happy face..

Okey text him back with ' hey look, I was so taken aback with your compliment I didn't know what to say, I'm stil blushing like a teenager!' Lets do something again real soon ??

Flirting by text is much like talking only words in front of you.. Just be yourself don't say anything that makes you uncomfortable if you say enjoyed him kissing you goodbye remind of it .. Tell him it made your head spin a little bit..
