writes:i haven't had a boyfriend since i was 8. i like this guy and i think he likes me we text each other all the time but i know he would be too shy to ask me out all my friends say to ask him out but im still unsure of it. i also think it might not be that he's shy just that he doesn't like me in that way and i don't know how to find out if he does like me like that.

 Why not ask him out, somewhere low-key? Ask him if he'd like to go for a walk on the beach, or if he'd like to have lunch together.
If he's interested in you as more than a friend, this is how you can inch a step closer to finding out. And if he's not, he'll either tell you he's not able to/interested. Hint: if he asks to bring a mate along, he isn't interested in dating!
Be brave! Don't worry too much. If he's a nice friend and he's not interested, he'll be kind about it, and if he's not a nice guy, it doesn't matter what he says.

Shyness is what`s holding you back.I have been there before and I missed my chance to be happy with him and there is not a day that goes by that I don`t think about what could have happened with us.So take a chance and don`t let it pass you by, because then how will you know.Well girlie, take my advice to heart and I hope it all works out for you.
