Have you tried smiling at him, saying hello, getting to know him, flirting a bit?
Most boys your age are idiots and if you hide your feelings completely then he'll never notice you.
Try smiling and saying hello next time you pass him and he's on his own. Make sure he's not with his friends as they are idiots too and will just make a big thing of it.
