I see him most days and we flirt with each other a lot, and for the past few days, he's all I've thought about. The problem is my dad... I don't live with my parents, but I know that if I were ever to date this guy, my dad would hate it. Although I haven't been brought up to be racist; my dad is.I don't know for sure if this guy actually likes me too, but I'm almost certain that he does. I guess my question is: if this guy likes me too, how would I explain it to my dad? That sounds pathetic but I do have respect for my dad and so I wouldn't want to do anything that'd upset him, but... Why does race have to be a problem?!

Make sure this is the guy for you. You don't have to tell your dad right away. You will never be able to change your dads feelings, but sometimes, with time, he may be able to accept you for who you want to spend your time with, and maybe even accept your man. Do what you want to do.
Good luck.
