We've been together almost 9 months and what frustrates me most is his communication habits. He seldomly initiates texts to me, same with Facebook or Skype chats. However, he tells me he loves receiving messages of any kind from me and not to stop. We have had arguments over his lack of communication before, and he has admitted to hating texting, but then there are the times when my messages go for half an hour or an hour without any acknowledgement, and sometimes he never responds at all even though he told me he's doing "nothing." I know I'm the only one he has eyes for. We did have problems in the past but we successfully worked through those, and we're completely devoted to each other now but it feels like I give way more when it comes to communication with him. (The way I see it, if he loves me so much wouldn't he want to talk to me more?) He has ADD, and I know this has to do with it to an extent. I know I can't change him, I just want to know how I can deal with this until I go back home because it drives me crazy.
