writes:I found out my boyfriend was cheating emotionally with this girl who lives on the opposite side of the country. But they skyped together so to me that distance doesnt mean anything. I sent him a text telling him I knew about his relationship with her and that if he wants her he can have her. He never responded, deactivated his facebook, and stopped getting on Skype. That may be cooincidental with the fact that it happened two days before Thanksgiving. He had been talking to this girl since we started going out in January. I still have some of his things and I want to see him to give them back and get some things off my chest. How do I get him to agree to that? we haven't seen each other in months because our relationship has gotten so rocky. Hes always been off and on with me. How do I explain to him that he emotionally cheated on me? If he doesnt agree to meet up with me, what do I do? I don't know how else to get closure.

reader, anonymous, writes (25 November 2011): Give him 2 weeks to pick the stuff up,if he fails to respond, write a letter to get it off your chest , put it with his thinngs - and either burn or bin the whole lot.
Sometimes we don't get to get it off our chest face to face, you;ve had a lucky escape, so put it behind you now.

 I think if you want to return his items and he is not responding to you or to have a discussion about his cheating then you should send him one last message to pick up his things by a (deadline) so you can get closure.
If he does not respond there is not much you can do but just expect at some point he will contact you.
