writes: I'm 22 and single, I keep thinking about having a girlfriend but always scared to ask a girl out. I thought it was fear of rejection but then I realise that its actually because of bad experiences and from what is happening to other people.Every girl i have dated/ been in relationship with has left me (had 2 girlfriends and both left me for another guy whilst one other I dated felt i wasn't good enough), my friend is engaged and is miserable, another feels emotionally blackmailed by his gf, i know one girl who has become anorexic, another girl who constantly cheats on her boyfriend. In fact of about 15 relationships I know, only 2 seem smooth sailing. So whats the point of having a girlfriend if all they are going to do is just make me miserable either during or after a relationship with them.I want to change my view on this and that women aren't all horrible people (which is a sad view to take on one gender for me since I have a sister and mum who I get on with well).
