That sounds casual to me. I wouldn't be too tricky because he might just get weirded out if you mysteriously obtain his address. I know I would be a little bit...

 ask where he lives, then ask wheres that? and then say you have a relative that lives there! get him to descibe in as much detail as possible and say that you have heard of it, then all you need are the numbers! or if you get his house number and post code you can type it into google and it should come up with the full address. x
