writes: I feel that I'm pregnant. By reading a lot of questions and answers to those who do think they are pregnant, I know that I should consider taking a pregnancy test... I had sex in February, February 12 to be exact. I have been having my periods irregularly, which only last at the most 4 days and flow lightly. I've been sick since then, but I've been a lot better here and there. I've been craving for food on which I would never ever imagine myself eating. I constantly look at my stomach and could see myself pregnant and think about what I'm going to do if a test did come out positive. I was facinated when I read this one story where this girl didn't know she was pregnant until she was 6 months! There's one problem; ever since I had sex with this guy who I have intense feelings for and known him for 4 years, I drank. Not once, but twice. Not out of pity, just because I didn't have a single thought of being pregnant in my head and I wanted to have a good time. It didn't come to mind that if I am thinking I'm pregnant, then I shouldn't have drank at all until I knew I was completely not pregnant. I have my sweet sixteen coming up in 2 weeks and planning to have a few way too many drinks. Just to be sure I'm not pregnant... How do I buy a pregnancy test or ask someone to buy it for me without them being too judgemental or look at me in a way which I dread the most.

If you get your period, it is physically impossible for you too be pregnant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menstration

I think you need confirmation of this from someone in Canada, I can only answer for the UK but I think it won't be very different.
To buy a pregnancy test you go into a chemist (pharmacist?) shop and buy one. Simple, cheap, straightforward, and no one will ask you any questions or be judgmental about it.
Don't worry too much if you have had a drink or two - it most probably won't have caused any problem at all even if you are pregnant, although it's better to avoid any alcohol now that you know there is a chance you might be. Very heavy drinking, particularly if it is done regularly, is likely to be very bad for an unborn baby.

We can send the man to the moon, but kids of nowaday have sex without contraception and get themselves pregnant or STD. Get a trusted friend to go to the chemist with you and buy a test kit. Yes alcohol can affect the baby too.
Good luck and keep us posted.
