What is your age? You sound young-erish. *wink*

I believe that when you are a teen you should keep dating to a casual level. Accept when some young man wants to take you to a movie or for a bite to eat. This is an opputunity to come to an understanding of who you would like to marry; to discover what qualities you like in your future spouse.

I think telling him that you liked him and will continue to do so but as a friend as you don't think it will develop further than it already has.

I don't understand why people meet people, befriend them, like them, then think that it's okay to toss them aside if things don't work out in the romantic arena. Life is too short to let a go of a friend.

I would give him time to mend.

I'd also talk to his mother and tell her you admire her and like her as she is someone who you can see being friends with and ask her if you can stop by now and again to keep in touch.

I think being honest is always best.

Good luck Chica.
