How do I block thoughts of my ex?

About three weeks ago, my ex and I 'took a break' I guess. It was long distance relationship, and the break was a result of whatever attraction there was between us fading away, I guess (Long story, blah). But anyways, we took a break on the... 15th or 16th of December, and since then, he hasn't spoken one word to me, except a 'merry christmas' on Christmas. Nothing, hasn't even talked to me as a friend like we used to.

So I've declared myself single, got tired of waiting. I mean, if he still had even a little bit of interest, he would have said 'hi' once or twice, wouldn't you think?

But anyways, my question is: how do I get over him? I find myself thinking about him and how we used to be way more often than I would like. I've set myself to move on, but I'm having a bit of difficulty doing so. Any advice to get him out of my head?
