We didnt speak after we broke up as we thought it was the best thing, however he's got my number again and started texting me, this i hate as i still have feelings for him. He, on the other hand has been in a relationship since and said it was love. I want him back, but im not sure he does. How do i ask him?

Hi there. It really depends on why you both broke up the first time.
If it was something serious that you couldn't work out, well there is every likelihood the same thing could happen again.
If he is texting you again, well then it seems he at least wants to be friends, but just keep your conversations light and don't mention going out with him again.
Don't even talk about your relationship before - just don't go there at all. Well not unless he mentions it. Don't you mention it first - let him do that. If he doesn't talk about it, don't you either.
Just talk like you were just friends before - not boyfriend and girlfriend. Act like that part of your life never happened.
