I know I am a bit geeky but I have built my confidence up so that I don't have problems talking to girls. The problem is that whenever I talk to a girl and I think "she seems nice" I later find out she has a boyfriend.I'm starting to get frustated about it and a little bit worried as I'm worried that this s just going to happen to me all the time. Can anyone give me advice on how to solve this issue?

On the whole, if you are looking only for girls that are willing to admit they are single... then good luck.
Oh, they are out there but I made that mistake when I was young and quickly realized that there is no such thing as a single female.
The boyfriend sometimes is no more then a defence mechanism. Or she keeps one around because often women are deadly afraid of being alone.
It is just like in the natural world, for most women, you got to defeat the other male first.
So, don't worry about it. Approach a girl you are intrested in and she will give you an answer soon or enough wether your approach is desired or not. If not, well then chalk it up to experience.

The fact you've found the confidence to talk to girls is great! Each time it should get easier. Also if these girls in relationships are giving you the time of day to flirt, despite having boyfriends then you must be a nice guy! Don't be so hard on yourself, keep putting yourself out there and you will find yourself a nice girlfriend when you least expect it! :)
Above all, have fun talking to girls! You're young! If you get hurt, dust yourself off and try again.
Good luck!x

Just be friends with them for a bit or maybe just ask them and if they do you could just wait till they brake up and swoop in.
