I agree, from the point you have it, that is easy, but where can you start to find your motivation? Specially, if you are in a very bad situation in life, and things looks very hopeless? Thanks Reply to this Question Share |

Finding motivation when depressed is very difficult. Take one step at a time until you reach just a little motivation. But motivation for what?
You can start on how to deal with the depression hour by hour day by day. What you would like to accomplish if you were not depressed. You have to force yourself to eat healthy, force yourself to bathe and do some chores... just by forcing yourself to accomplish small tasks helps raise your energy just a little. Anything you do is better than doing nothing.
Its winter and holiday season, so that might have something to do with your mood. There is a suppliment called SAMe which helps a lot! Much better than St. Johns Wort.
Find magazines with pictures you like to inspire your mood and perhaps look around the area for things people throw out to redecorate your home?
Move your furniture around to change your environment sometimes helps just a little.
Also, naturally, try to be around people that you like and ask them what motivates them. Hope that helped a little.
