reader, anonymous, writes (2 May 2006): a girl asked me out from a bar the other night she worked behind the bar and she started talking to me and seemed interested and not scared to say she liked me gave me her no and made me the happiest person in years so just do it the worst people can do is say no :(but a little determination will prove sucessful! ;) x

reader, anonymous, writes (2 May 2006): i don't think it's so much what you say as your attitude that's the important thing. just be very nonchalant- not offhand though!- be very cool and calm - even if you're crying inside! just ask him if he fancies going for a drink (or whatever). to be honest, if he likes you he's going to say yes whatever you say. if he says no obviously you'll feel like crap but retain an air of dignity and he'll have forgotten about it within a week. it's always a terrifying thing to do, but if you're just yourself you can't go far wrong. hope this helped x
