We are completely honest with each other and can talk about nearly everything. the only "problem" we have is that we've never said the "i love you's" yet. to cut a long story short, he has text me saying that he has been wanting to tell me so much that he loves me but hasnt been able to say the words without it feeling empty. His feelings for me are there and he knows thats what it is, he just has a hard time verbalising it.what does this mean? is he in love with me or still unsure because it feels empty? what should i do? should i wait for him to say it to me in person or should i make the first move?sorry for all the questions but this is my first love and serious relationship and i dont want to mess it up

Maybe what he is trying to say is he loves you so much that just the words "I love you" won't be enough. If you want to tell him you love him go ahead and say it! If he doesn't say it back because he isn't ready that doesn't mean he doesn't love you. He said he has been wanting to tell you so I think the feeling definitely is there.Good luck honey!!
