If you start declaring your crush or that you are REALLY into him, it can becomes JUST plain awkward, specially if he sees you as a friend and no more.
Having a crush doesn't mean you HAVE to yell it from the roof tops or tell it to the person. Crushes comes and goes.
It also doesn't mean HE has to feel the same about you.
Let's say some guy you talk to occasionally, but sees as a STRICTLY friend tells you he is HEAD over HEELS for you - but you don't FEEL that way about him - you'd feel bad for telling him that (that you don't like him that way) wouldn't you? And if you tell this friend and he tells you, I only see you as a friend, you will feel hurt too. NO ONE likes rejection.
WHY not enjoy the FACT that you have a male friend whom you share a lot on common with and ENJOY spending time with?
Who knows maybe some years down the line it can blossom into something more.
