If you're worried about what your boyfriend thinks - and concerned that he might be upset if there is no hymen to tear, then perhaps he isn't as understanding and loving as you think - and should reconsider who you will lose your virginity to. Many times women believe men love them enough that these women decide this guy is the "one" and give the guy their virginity, only for the guy to leave afterwards. For these men, virginity is a conquest, a notch on their belt. If you HONESTLY have doubts about this guy, don't do it.
Oh, and only medical personnel are able to identify whether or not the hymen is still in tact or has been torn - or if there was one to begin with. So, I don't think there is a physical way for your boyfriend to be sure you are still a virgin. He just has to trust that you are telling him the truth. If he doesn't believe you - send him packing.
Hope this helps

I'm not sure that there is a way of finding out, but if you have been doing horse riding for a long time then it more than likely has been broken a long time ago.
Take care.xx.
