I thought I was bisexual, but I've realised that I like doing stuff to girls but don't like them doing stuff to me. Does this mean I'm not Bi?

A male reader, anonymous, writes (18 November 2006):

we as people always feel we have to label things. in real life though, things don't always fit neatly into categories. i mean, u like what u like and shouldn't feel ashamed about it. or worry about what label it fits under.

When you say you don't like girls doing stuff to you, is it the thought of it or are you actually talking from experience? And when you say you like doing stuff to them, do you get a buzz from it like its a happy feeling or just fun for now? You didn't actually say whether or not you like guys so I'm guessing you do because you suggested being bi. I think you are confused, you should ask yourself why you don't like girls doing stuff to you. Maybe you are worried you won't compare to the girl your with, I don't know, but never knock anything until you've tried it
