I certainly don't wish to assume my new man will be anything like that but the the thought of being judged and rejected in that way again feels horrible and I want to be careful not to get involved with a man who will ' need ' porn or see me as not measuring up.I have told him and of course he assures me he is not like that but I can't help but more that it's early days with us so far

reader, anonymous, writes (24 February 2014): I don't think this there a way to tell, you said you've asked him and he's said no, take that for now but just keep your wits about you and don't get too involved until you can be absolutely certain that he's not going to do the same as your ex.
