writes:So I met this guy on the internet three years ago and we started talking. I lied to him and told him I had, had sex. We stopped talking for a while but recently we re-gained our friendship. When I say friendship I mean he is a really good friend. I want to tell him I lied to him all that time ago but it seems stupid to bring it all up now. We have never met because we live so far away from one another but he keeps saying how he wants to meet me. I've agreed to meet him when I move to his city in September because that's closer to where he lives.I don't know how to tell him the truth.The only other thing is that because we text a lot I'm worried that he's building up an image of me that isn't right. He's probably thinking that I'm slim and perfect when really I'm neither.How can I meet with someone who has such high expectations? How do I tell him the truth? Or do I wait until things actually start getting real?

As you now have become friends again i would tell him the truth about the sex question. Then in a friendly way i would describe your appearence to him. Ask him what he looks like. There is no one Perfect so that is the good news. But you must have a very nice personaility that he has kept in touch for so long and he renewed the friendship again. Best luck .Nora B.
