I've heard her and her friends saying things to that effect since our freshman year (we're rising seniors now). First I would start by either asking her, or if you feel more comfortable, mutual friends between you and her to find out if she does have a boyfriend. After that if she does then go for it, it sounds like its the sure thing here. And if she doesn't, you should probably respect the other guy and her for that matter as she's not dating him just for kicks. If she's dating him then that means she likes him too. If she really likes you enough then she could end her current relationship for you. Hope that helps! good luck
