I am now ready to start dating again and there is one particular guy Ive got my eye on but I think he is shy and I have no idea how I can let him know that I like him without freaking him out. Ive known him for years and always thought he was nice but Ive never got to know him properly. He is on my facebook page and I occasionally see him around but I just say hello or just smile. How can I get to know him more and start talking to him without looking too forward or desperate?

When she got to where I was she just stood there grinning at me. This came after many months of strong eye contact and lingering looks from afar. Know what - I asked her out the following day via e-mail (gave her advanced warning via telephone) and was rejected (she was already dating an office guy!). Women are like snowflakes - everyone is different. Hope you pull your man! I thought I was getting 'all the signs' but I was wrong. Make sure you make it clear to your guy that you want him to ask you out........crystal clear. Yours deflated.
