This seemed like a pretty good idea until I realized that I have absolutely no clue what to say to him. I mean,I kind of want to say something a little more meaningful than just 'happy birthday'. He doesn't know I like him again...yet...and I really don't want to give him the impression that I do because I know he doesn't feel the same way about me and I ended up losing his friendship last time I liked him because I got on his nerves too much. So,if anyone can tell me what to say to show him that I care but not blow my cover, I'd really appreciate it.Thanks,Sarah

Just send him a straight FRIENDSHIP card...nothing romantic.
Something with a bit of humour & a birthday greeting.
Since you already got on his nerves once & he ended the friendship...sounds like you are now on "probation" and need to earn his trust again.
If he feels comfortable being friends...respect that.
If you ignore wise advice & go overboard again, you know he will evenutally end the friendship again.
Someday you will find a guy who desires more than friendship with you...he will be worth pursuing !
Tread carefully sweet Angel,
((hugs))

Maybe just keep it simple... a nice formal card of sorts maybe a funny one, with words along the lines of have a great day and put you name with a little kiss. That way its like a friend wishing him well and he knows at the same time that you care. The key is to keep it simple and that will have the right effect.
