We were kids back then but we always got along very well. I haven't seen him for a quite long time. Next week me, him and other friend of us from school time are going out to have a drink and talk about the old times. Recently we've talked a lot through the msn and through sms...We are always talking about metaphors which can be interpretated in a sexual/phisical way. We also talk about our lifes, etc...He actually told me some quite nice things about me and my physical appearence. I showed a friend (a girl) of mine the conversations and she said he was hitting on me. I find this hard to believe...I mean, I know I am flirting, but I don't know about him. He recently broke up with his girlfriend (he was with her for a quite long time). Could he be interested in me? Or how can I make him get interested in me?

well you cant make someone be interested in you but you can show him your interested by being more flirty etc also i think talking to him about how you feel would help however be carefull because if has just broken up he might not be ready right now.
