reader, anonymous, writes (4 November 2006): hi i am 14 almost 15 i have the same problem , i am meeting a boy i realy like but i am not sure if he likes me, sometimes he acts like it and sometimes he acts like he doesn't, i wish there good be a bar on top of his head the told me how much he liked me! i thiknk the best for you to do is act like your self, i no ever1 says that but i learned that if u are someone else then if he does ask you out, and u start acting like yourself, what happens if he dosn't like you anymore cause you are not who u think he is, but.... you can still spend EXTRA long on you hair, and your nails and pick a pretty outfit out, thats never hurts lol

Im 22 and the point is you dont need to impress a person at all, its a sure way of failing. Just be yourself dont be what your not, if he likes you he will like you regardless.
if you know him well ask him if he wants to meet up on the w/end rather than try to impress him. If he likes you he would say yes or sugest another time. When women try and impress me it suggests that their either fake or that they just want one thing and i view it as looking desperate, although dont get me wrong makeup etc is fine just dont do anything out of character
I have never tried to impress anyone, i just be my self and i have had no trouble getting with Women.
