A female Australia age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I have a quick question. My sister ask me some advice but I have no idea what to say to her b'cus I have never been in that position.

She's having an affair with a married man and he says he wants to leave his wife. Aparently he told his wife he wants to leave, but he is worried she cannot cope on her own and he feels guilt (so he should really). he also wants to sell the house before he leaves her as morgage so big and he has to pay it all as she doesnt work and wants to leave her half of house. Thats about all I know, apart from she's still mainly a secret. What on earth should I say to her?

I wondered if he's using her but ive seen them together and he looks besotted with her and he looked after her alot for two months when she broke her leg.

Someone wouldnt do that if they didnt love them.

I am worried i will give her the wrong advice

Any advice will be greatly welcome

Tell her don't get involved. People who have affairs lie through their teeth to everyone: his wife, his children, the divorce laeyer; so why not your sister.
