A female United States age 30-35, *anda17 writes:

My boyfriend and I have been dating for quite a long time (2 years) and he says he loves me a lot, but yet he acts as if I could be easily replaced. He is very insecure, and always saying that he does not trust me when he is mad, but then he claims he does when hes uh not mad? He has had very bad relationships in the past, but I am a very good girl to him, any advice on how to make him chill in the "insecure category?" I really wouldn't ask if it wasn't effecting my life, and relationship, thanks you guys!

Not to accuse you of anything, but I think being mistrustful and being insecure are different things. He is being mistrustful.

About all you can do is point out that lots of relationships don't end like his last one. Tell him you don't deserve to be punished for things that someone else did to him.
