But, knowing that a girl likes me does a lot toward making me want to pursue her or tell her if I like her. Practice flirting, smile, use his name, touch his arm, etc.
Basically, though, he either likes you or he doesn't, and if he does, he's just nervous because he doesn't know what to do. You just want to help him get the idea that he can stick his neck out and pursue you and he's not going to get rejected.
