At the end of the day it is your life and i find that pushy, ambitious parents who force their hopes and dreams on their off spring, tend to come unstuck when eventually the child rebels and does it own thing in the end.Im all for encouragment and support for your children but not this strict, ramming it down your throat tactic. If your father hasn't listened to a word you have said then im afraid that you will have to accept that he wont change, surely your happiness is far more important then what he wants. You have nothing to feel guilty about, its your life and its down to you on how you want to live it.Tell then that you appreciate their concern but for you to mature into a intelligent, young man, then you need to make your own decisions in life.
