do you drink alot of beer?? sorry! but if you do try cutting down, if you dont then dont worry - alot of people carry all their weight on just one part of their body - im the same, mine is on my stomach!! before you do sit ups i would suggest just getting your body into shape and maybe going for a 30 min walk or something, just to warm up. try doing maybe 10-15 sit ups at night, and as you go on increase the number of them. sit ups are great for the stomach and slowly you will see your stomach not only getting smaller but getting tighter and firmer. you could also be retaining alot of fluid which can sometimes be caused by drinking alot of tea, coffee, and sodas. try drinking more cranberry juice and water instead, and cut down on the snacking!if you need any more tips just email me!good luck xxx

You need to do cardiovascular exercises (things that get the heart pumping) like running, etc. Dieting can also help. Situps do too, but not noticeably by themself. So, cardio, dieting, and some situps would be your best bet.

In addition to sit ups (yes, sorry, they are needed!), a lot of cardio, such as a treadmill, will really help you drop weight in your stomach, as well as everywhere else. Ideally try to get up to an hour of cardio a day, and you'll be delighted at how soon you start to see results. Also, the sit-ups: quality is better than quantity. Make sure whatever ab exercise you're doing, you do it slowly, with controlled movements, and you are targeting the right muscles.
I recommend joining a gym - they have a lot of ab machines where you don't have to lie on the floor to do sit-ups, which is nice b/c it's easier on your neck/back. If you do join a gym, I promise you very soon you will start to love going to work out! It's always tough the first week or two, but stick with it and you will look forward to it, and once you start losing weight, or inches, depending on your goals, your self-confidence will skyrocket!
All you need is the initiative - just go out and do it already! And you can trust me, because I like bad food and being a couch potato like most people as well. Only difference is I tried it!
