I've been in exactly the same position as you. I'd been single since November last year until about 4 months ago.At the time of meeting my now-girlfriend I wasn't even looking much. I wanted a partner but when I looked, it never happened then when I wasn't looking she came along. The trick is to just take each day as it comes rather than think "Tomorrow night I'm gonna go to clubs/pubs and try to pull and get a boyfriend". Living for the day it is will get stop your depressed feelings and unexpectedly someone will pop along. It's the same with anything really.Good luck and I hope you find someone soon.
