I agree it's different when it's your daughter doing and it believe me I have 7 brothers and sisters and 5 of them are girls! I'm 17 and my mum now lets him stay whenever so he's here like every other night.

First of all does your mum know how much you like him? an how happy he makes you? That helped for me.

Has your mum ever met him? Make sure he visits your house a lot and gets on with your mum then she's more likely to let him stay... if you need more advice just mail me =) x

jessica04 agony auntWell, no parent is going to trust someone else with their child, it just doesn't happen that way.

Is he able to come visit you? She might be more at ease if he can stay the weekend with you, where she can make sure you two are behaving. If he isn't willing to come visit you, then he can't expect your mom to trust you going to visit him, because to her he just wants to get you alone for one thing.
