We haven been togther for a while now and he is my neighbor...so my parents know him well. Also my dad, who i live with, knows i am sexualy active with him. Anywho so here is the dilima. My dad wont allow me to go down the shore after prom. (im 16 my bf is 18) and im not trying to sound lik "well eveyone else does" but some of my close friends even get to go when they go for their boyfriends proms. See i dont understand why i cant, i dont drink and party same with my bf. and i tell my dad everything and he knows that. Its onenight, and i never lie, breake rules, or get in trouble....so dont i deserve this once? He had asked yesterday what we are doing after prom, i had said idk, his friends are going to the shore. He said well you sure arent going then, you too cant get a hotel room. Honestly....more bad things could go wrong with me going to a party, like people getting high and drunk, and the cops comming, and there are just so many more risks for going to a party where as if we went to the shore, wed prob just have sex (which we would anyway) and stay snuggled up in our room. I know my dads erra says its not propper, and i do understand that and relize hes just being a dad.....but idk, i really would like to go.Can anyone give me advise on how i could potentially get him to say i could go? (whats funny is im close w. my bfs famiy and it was his moms idea...and she said she knowswe are both great kids and that my dad should losen up) But its like i know this is a one time thing, not like oh well i did it then why cant i now.....i mean i completly understand and AGREE that just prom weekend, its a one time thing....Can someone please give me some insight on how to have y dad say yes....any parents too, please!Thank you in advace(ps i really dont drink or party....i have no intrsste bceacuse i believe you are who you hang out with)
