A female United States age 30-35, *indestress writes:

Alright...so my boyfriend and i have been together for about two years and i lovee him. He’s always a gentlemen and is such a sweet guy to me.however his style, haircut, and lack of shaving has been driving me crazy lately. There is no doubt I love him no matter what, but it’s just I introduce him to a lot of people and they tend to judge him right away and he comes off as a bum. How can I let him know he should clean up around me? Please help. He’s such a great guy and he needs some help:/

tell him how sexy he'd look if he shaved or say something like " your so cute...wonder what you'd look like clean shaven...probably really hot!" ... or if your shopping, pick up a shirt and say that it'd look good on him.. eventually maybe it'll click in that you like that sort of thing and maybe he'll start doing it with out you directly saying it.

Charlpop agony auntMy advice would be to compliment him a lot whenever he shaves, etc. Well, basically cleans up a little. He'll probably want to do it more often to please you :)

As for the haircut and clothes, perhaps you could go shopping and invite him along, and perhaps suggest some clothes to him while he's out with you.

You could do the same with the hair. Ask him to go with you to the hairdressers and suggest he gets a new look, too.

Hope this helps :)
