writes:hey i really need advice, my boyfriend does not like to talk or show any emotions or affection however i am a very emotional person and i love to show him and talk to him about my feelings but he claims he doesnt like talking about his emotions or feelings... Its hard to communicate with a person like that... i love being around him and spending time with him my friends and family think i should just let him go but i want to stick by him and try to make it better he can really be sweet at times but he can also be very selfish at times.... I know communication is key in a relationship but how can i get him to communicate.... reader, anonymous, writes (14 January 2010): I dont think your relationship is meant to be if he cant communicate that comes long before you and probably wont change at lwast for a couple of years when he notices that he doesnt commmunicate anything and that he needs to. This isnt something you can change about him he will have to change it on his own and that will take time. It could very well be that he isnt ready for a relationship and therefore you should just say that not communicating with him is hurting your relationship together communication is key to everything regardless of any kind of relationship intimate, family, co worker, just tell him that you dont feel it will work out as long as he cant communicate what he feels and this may reveal that hes not into you or not over someone in his past.
