they are many elements of wrong deeds. depends what the deed was, who got betrayed, was anyone hurt, the list continues.

However, I do know that guilt is a wasted emotion, as is regret. There is nothing you can do to change what has already been done. All we can do is learn from our mistakes and make an effort not to repeat them.
Use your errors as learning tools, and become a better person! Time will heal whatever it is you are going through.
Realize that there are always consequences for our actions!

Either make it up to the person you hurt, hand yourself into the police or if you can't do either of the above the figure out an aproriate punishment for yourself and do that.
Raise £3000 for charity by shaking a tin at the Supermarket on Saturday mornings. Then you are off the hook.
