To Rainorfire - I think you misunderstood me! I don't know what I need to do, that was exactly the point of me asking for advice, not very helpful...
To the 'female reader annonymous', thanks, it's good to know someone's been in the same position! In this case we met in a work context - only actually met once but had email contact for a couple of months after. We've both moved on to different jobs now and so I had no reason to be in touch other than to declare my feelings which didn't seem like a good idea at the time ( a year ago) but now I wish I had!

we always want what we cant have, even if we could reach the stars we couldnt touch them, love is like a kaleidoscope full of pretty colors but ultimately useless. basically you just have to forget her your not a teenage girl anymore if you kno nothing can come of it move on chalk it up as a loss we cant have everything we want in life im not trying to be cruel but you kno what you have to do forget her and move on
