Before you go straight to eating a ton of food or ensure, I would SPEAK TO YOU DOCTOR.

If you are underweight for your age, your doctor should be able to help you come up with a plan to increase your weight in a healthy way.

Diving into loads of cheeseburgers, junk foods and dietary supplements may lead you to bad health concerns down the line. People can be skinny as a rail and still have problems like high blood pressure and diabetes. My sister is a naturally skinny, low weight person and she had high cholesterol problems in her mid 20s!

Please consult your doctor about your concerns. If your desire to gain weight is a body image concern, that makes it even MORE IMPORTANT to gain weight while monitored by a doctor so that your diet habits stay in check in a healthy way.

Good luck!

Artistry agony auntHi there, you are going to wish for this smallness when you are older, just wait. Best way I know to gain weigth is to eat and wait a while until the food is definitely in your stomach, you don't want to gag or choke on food. After it is in your stomach, lie down, that is the quickest way to gain weight I know. Continue to do this and the scale will tell you your wish is coming true. Don't overdo it. there are hazards with gaining weight. Know this, if you gain too much, you will have gained fat cells and if you want to lose that weigth, you could go into a yo-yo cycle where you gain more weight than before and it becomes a vicious cycle. That is why people have such a hard time, keeping weight off. Be very careful about what you want to do to your body. Being your natural self is probably the best thing to do. Take care. Stay in touch, if you do lie down just after you eat, take good care that your food has gone into your stomach, VERY IMPORTANT!

PS! I forgot to include where to buy ensure plus. RiteAid! I'm sure there's one in Florida. Or u can opt for the riteaid brand (Nutrition Plus) which is cheaper, $7.99 for a box of six cans. Ensure plus is 9.99 for a box of six small bottles. I found that the riteaid brand helped me gain quicker.

Want to gain weight? So did I. Guess what I did to go from 130 pounds to 160 in three weeks? I drank ensure plus three times a day. One in the morning, another in the after noon and the last before going to bed. It worked. It worked so well that I grew a double chin and I look horrible. I did get the ass I wanted. I pertruded and filled my jeans just like I wanted. If only some weight didn't go to my face, I would have continued.

Surely - you're in the right country - America, home of the hamburger! You don't have to eat more, just cut out the good stuff and eat burgers and chips(or should I say 'fries'?)a couple times a day. Cut out any and all exercise - don't run when you can walk - don't walk when you can take a cab. You should have no problems gaining weight. You may however, have a slow, premature death.

Good luck.

I think you should eat regularly and healthy as weight gain products may not be an option especially if they have to be prescribed by a doctor. If you feel well then I wouldn't worry, you're just naturally slim, and as you get older your metabolism may slow down so make the most of not putting on the extra pounds lol. IF how ever you have not been feeling well and are losing weight then you should go and see a doctor.
