When I did, she told me she was already in a serious relationship and so I said it was ok and changed the subject. I've worked with her for almost 6 months so she wasn't a complete stranger, which made it worse when she said it. Anyway, I never had any success with women in the past and basically given up. But I was foolish and listened to my heart and now i'm hurt all over again, something I promised myself I wouldn't put myself through again. I guess it hurts more when she said she was in a serious relationship because I know I'll never have a chance compared to if she was just too busy or something. So I was just wondering if anybody has any advice on how to move past this? It has really brought me down. Maybe if I was younger i'd just brush it off, but i'm turning 25 next week and have never had a significant person in my life =/ Reply to this Question Share |
