The frustrating thing is that I know she likes me and I don't care about the age gap, it's not that much and I am legal. Am I being an idiot by thinking it's ok to be together? I don't know how to persuade her. Reply to this Question Share |

You are underage and this is a big problem for most people. Tell her you like her and want her to keep in touch with you. Maybe later on the relationship will happen. Of course you don't care about the age gap, but it's a pretty big gap at this time. If she likes you then there may be another opportunity later in life.

there is a huge difference between 17/18 and 23
there is less of a gap between 22/23 and 28
and as you get older and older the gap is less and less.
just continue to be her friend and show her how mature you are... maybe she will change her mind.
