I had a restraining order taken out on me which frightened me and I stopped behaving in this manner. The key is to think of a negative thought about them when the desire to text or ring arises and associate that person with a bad thought. Also make a cup of tea or do something everytime you want to call. Keep a bar chart of the days you have left him alone and stick to it each day. Don't do it or you will get into serious trouble like I did. People will also think you are mad and it's not nice being thought of or laughed about like that. Go to the docs if you can get free professional help as that might also help you stop. xx

You need really to get some help or read up on the condition. It takes many forms. If you have got to the stage in the past where police action has been threatened then it is clear that, for your own good, you need to get advice from people who really know what you are suffering.

Get rid of your phone and lose his number. If you have uncontrollable urges and obsessive thoughts you need professional help. Talk to your doctor about how to control these behaviors and actions.
If you've been having this problem for 7 years without professional help and are acting out again, you really do need to get serious and get proper help, okay?
Take care.

Get VERY busy with something else. Take up a hobby quick smart. Join a gym, take dance classes, busy urself with cleaning, or go out with family.
