How can I cheer him up?

Question - (28 August 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 28 August 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm 21, and my guy is in a deep depression, he's like sad all day, he's really hardworking though, but always sad, he isn't speak much, isn't his regular joker self, and is barely smiling.

He's 30 by the way, and I met him online, I'm not actually from the states, I'm from Denmark, but to my surprise, after his military service, he came all the way to Denmark for me. And yeah we ended up in the states.

I really love the guy, he's really nice to me, is always understanding, and he's really relaxing to be with, he's like over-pampering sometimes. His depression began from like 2 weeks ago. I can't figure anything out. If I try to talk about it, he just shrugs it off.

I try to cheer him sexually, he doesn't cheer up. And when I proposed a blowjob (Thinking it would cheer him since generally all men like it) He shouted NO! I asked him if I disgust him or something, he says he can't bare to see my face down there. He's always in the giver position and never let's me do anything.

It's just I'm worried about him. Also it can't be a midlife crisis, because first he's still young, second he doesn't care that much about his age.

Also we're getting married next year, and since he's the one that proposed and got over jolly about it, he can't be sad about that either...

I'm really puzzled here, can anyone help me?

He's the love of my life and I can't see him like this, I want the old happy, funny and hyper him, and I miss his pretty smile.

Really appreciated!

youngmum89 agony aunthello have you ever stopped and wondered what went on while he was on duty, the things people in the military do see is unreal people dying every day there friends dying, its just awful, have you ever asked him if he has flashbacks or anything from when he was there, i think this could be leading to his depression you should probably ask if he would like to see someone to speak about everything that went on when he was on duty i hope this helps a bit
