I generally feel quite insecure and worry that people dont really want to spend time with me and they are just friends with me because they feel sorry for me or there was no one better at the time. I worry that i bore them, and dont phone people much because i dont have anything worthwhile to tell them. Im am an intelligent girl who likes to have fun and will go out of my way to help people out and i have lots of friends and a few very close ones so i dont understand why i feel like this. When it comes to men, i worry all the time that they only ask me out for a joke, and that no-one will ever actually want me for me. How can i become more at ease with myself and worry less?

Maybe it might be worth you going to talk to someone that specializes in things like this as they can help get to the cause of your feeling like this and without getting to the bottom of the problem and working out why you feel like this you can't move on and try to overcome this.
Good luck :o)
