A bath every other day....is fine. I recommend every single day, but every other day is fine. Change your sheets at least once a week ( I do mine every 3 days unless I sleep with someone then it's the very next day) Brush your teeth every single day or at least twice a day. Do your hair every week or two and do your nails, feet and toes on a regular basis. Use moisturizors for your skin to soften and freshen and talk to a female about dryness at the vaginal area....you don't want to do that. Buy you enough panties or underwear so that you can change every single day

I recommend at least 30 pair of underwear and at least 14 pair of socks or hose.

about the nails - always keep your toenails painted and looking good

and about the bedding - change your sheets at least once a week. It might be a good idea to get some really nice soft high threadcount cotton sheets (eg, for your birthday or something, as they're quite expensive). Then you will really enjoy lying in them, and want them to be nice and clean and ironed. Get Egyptian cotton. White and pure is the best!

(I didn't used to be like this at all - I used not to care - but now I realise you need to!)

natasia agony auntIt's fairly simple, and you seem to know the answer already yourself. You need to take an interest in looking after your body. It's a precious thing, and deserves it. Eg:

Get up. Brush your teeth. Wash your face (or maybe even, if you can, get some nice face cleanser - eg, Dior magic water is great - makes you feel really clean and refreshed. Start to take an interest in cleansing products. Go to a department store and ask about them. Get some samples.) Two or three times a week, use an exfoliator on your face and neck.

Have a shower in the morning. Make sure you keep your legs and under your arms shaved, or go regularly to have them waxed. After your shower and hair wash, use a nice body lotion all over, and take the trouble to dry your hair. Use a shining and smoothing product on your hair when it's done. Look at yourself in the mirror - take a pride in your body and how nice you're keeping it.

In the evening, have a bath or shower. Bath often good as a time to shave your legs. When you get out, wash your face and brush your teeth. Floss your teeth once a day - morning or night (or twice, if you get into it). Then moisturise your face and body again. Keep a check on your feet in the evening, too - get one of those foot sanders for rubbing down your heels, if they need it. Use a foot cream on them. Get into bed. You'll feel so nice and clean.

And start having your nails painted in a salon. It is so good - doesn't have to cost a lot, but just being in there will make you more aware of taking care of your body.

I'm talking here about spending maybe up to an hour a day on your body, but it's worth it. You have to, otherwise you'll regret it one day. And if you really want to look after it properly, go for a swim every morning, and then do your showering/moisturising thing. That will REALLY make you clean, because then you're cleaning from the inside out, getting rid of all those toxins. That's the 100% best way.

Trust me. Am 9 months pregnant now and everyone says I look wonderful. It's just swimming and a bit of body lotion : )

Why are you having problems with this? Is it to do with organisation or are you feeling bored/fed up? It is important for our physical & psychological health to be hygienic.

I agree with the poster who suggested doing things at set times - a routine always helps. Personally I have a shower in the morning, before i have breakfast or do anything & then I have a relaxing bath in the evening. Some days, if you have a heavy period or have been exercising, you might want to have a shower midday as well. I find that I brush my teeth in the morning and before bed and occasionally lunchtime if i have eaten onions or garlic or some such.

It is not good for us to 'overwash' and dry out our skin but I think the above suggestions is ok. Yes the bedding needs to be changed once or twice weekly (I do mine twice weekly) as we do seat in bed and shed skin even though we can't see it and the bedroom should be aired daily. It is important to wear clean underwear every day and clean clothes and socks etc ... If you do a google search on personal hygiene you will find some helpful hints. Washing hair regularly is also important as the scalp can small. Using nice moisturising soaps and so on is nice and can make the experience of bathing/showering pleasurable and fun!! I hope this is of some help! Take care & good luck with finding a routine that keeps you fresh & healthy. I find that if i stick to the above routine, which includes cleansing and moisturising my skin, and using deodrant, that I feel fresh, healthy & confident! xx
