How can I ask her out without risking our friendship?

Question - (18 March 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 18 March 2009)
A male United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I have this great female friend. We've met up twice, text and phone each other a lot etc. Ever since I can remember I've had feelings for her and all my friends say that I should ask her out.

She has also asked me what would I do if she fancied me and I said I would probably ask her out. I asked the same thing to her, and she said the same back. I have 2 questions. Does she like me more than a friend? And I want to ask her out, but how can I do it in a way that if she says no, we can still be friends.

I am 13 by the way.

Thanks

You could ask her out... I sometimes say if you don't ask you don't get- but I know from experience the going from friends --- lovers can get complicated especially if you split up... good luck on your decision :)
