Everyday for a decent amount of time.. 1, 2, one time 4 hours straight. She and I talk about anything and everything. I try to flirt, but a really close friend of mine, "Erica" (also a good friend of hers) said Michelle doesn't think there are any guys that like her. Erica asked Michelle if she's liking anyone and Michelle wouldn't tell Erica. Erica asked "if you could go on a dinner date with any guy, who would it be?" I guess Michelle was stubborn and answered "myself." As I said, Michelle and I text all the time... I'd like to ask her out on a date, but how should I if we only text? We don't see each other often unless we're with other friends. We don't have class together, we don't even have any of the same classes where we could do the homework together. We studied last night together... but again, one of our other friends was there.Would I come off as a guy that has little self-confidence if I suggest we grab lunch one day when we're both free through a text? Would it be super obvious if I call her up and ask her out on a date?

Why not ask her out in a text? Texting is the new calling! You have her number, are interested, but haven't mustered up the courage to ask her out. Stop making excuses and just ask whether you call or text, put this plan into motion!

Phone her up and ask her you can see she has verry little self confidence I was like that and you yourself are like what I was. If you don't make a move you may miss out on your chance. Chin up and go for it. I'm quite confident now with anyone and it comes with time. But go for it and just be sweet and sencitive with her. Good luck
