i have these unbearable feelings for my close friend. How can i ask her in a special way so it really means something? I want to make it as special as possible, up for anything no matter how much planning, effort or money required!

I think you should make a statement rather than ask a question. If you have feelings for her, you should tell her. Ask her, "how would you feel about being more than friends?"

If she's truly your friend, she will always be your friend whether she reciprocates or not. Be brave, man.

take her to her favortie activity, or do something thats all about her (i dont know her so i cant tell you what) if she likes to go swimming take her swimming if she likes fishing go fishing if she likes kicking midgets (i dont know) go kick some. take her to get her favorite food or whatever do things about her.
